Closer to reality than you’d think. Our army (not the US one) has such budget problems they can’t afford uniforms and especially helmets for all its people.
Soldiers end up buying and borrowing clothes from their personal money from foreign colleagues when on deployment, and from military dump stores selling off old stock to civilians when at home.
Have you considered writing to your representative and suggesting they cut costs by discontinuing production of women’s size uniforms? Helmets and such are certainly more important.
No wonder the government shutdown! If this is the result, then I don’t know why the government isn’t shutdown 24/7!
