  1. They need to get back to Olympic sports competition being done fully nude as it used to be. Then let that spread to all levels of sports competition. The obvious exceptions would be those sports requiring heavy protective gear (hockey, football, etc.)

    • Those exceptions are not necessarily required. We were moving that way from 2009 to 2012 with the Lingerie Football League. The players, who are women, only wore bra, pnaties, socks and shoes, plus necessary protective gear.

Unfortunately, they re-branded in 2013 as Legends Football League and replaced the lingerie with outfits that were not lingerie, although they do tend to be skimpy — rather like Beach Volleyball. We didn’t counter the blue-stockings enough, and they forced a move in the wrong direction.

A google search will turn up both the old and new outfits e.g. https://www.google.com/search?q=women%27s+lingerie+football+league&client=firefox-b&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjqk5eHp6jeAhVPwVkKHYh-CcUQ_AUIDigB&biw=851&bih=698&dpr=1.25#imgrc=DKyzMG0aCtjZXM:

Hokey might be more problematic, although it might be possible, provided the players can keep warm on the bench and in the penalty box.

      • The “exceptions” I refer to above would not include anything that would cover the competitor’s nudity. It would only cover strictly necessary protective gear. (Helmets, minimal padding) Think LFL without the lingerie. With Hockey that would obviously also include skates. Even though they are not strictly protective gear, it’s kind of hard to skate without skates.
