The timing is quite appropriate. When Infomercial 1 was posted we were in the middle of a heatwave in the UK. Now we’re heading into Autumn (Fall) and as poor “Philomena” says it’s “Flippin’ cold.” Both posts imagine that even where there are proper PN laws on the statute books they will have been contested and various pressure groups will advertise to promote their own points of view.
Things got better after Philomena discovered blankets, portable heaters, and winter coats. The infomercials on the other hand never seemed to go away.
