  1. I have read where it is very healthy to walk barefoot in the grass. Something about absorbing nature’s energy.

  2. Maybe not mandatory barefoot, but at least socially acceptable. Unfortunately, there are still stupid people that think shoes that have been who-knows-where including a barnyard are cleaner than bare feet that get washed pretty often.

    • If your shoes are dirty, you can take them off before you go into a building. If your feet are dirty, it’s not so easy to brush and wash them.
I would be more worried about injuries and dirt in the wounds.

      • You can’t take them off if shoes are required. It’s easier to clean off your feet than your shoes. If your shoes get wet, they stay wet for a long time, feet dry off quickly. Yes, I know from experience. I am barefoot most of the time.
