Tree climbing guide for PN’s:
1) Choose a smooth bark tree like a birch or
sycamore. Avoid oaks and Siberian elms which have very rough bark.
2) Choose trees in clearings. They have lower branches unlike trees in woods.
3) Climb with a buddy. You have something to do until help arrives.
