  1. Mavis decided that less is more when she entertained her boyfriend at home. Her boyfriend was aroused more or less.

  2. Took me a minute to figure it out but bottomless refers to the alcohol availability not the dress code. Very clever. A very easy error for the poor girl to make. If the other people attending were her true friends they would have joined her bottomless dress (especially after a few drinks.)

    • In this universe, women cannot go bottomless unless being punished by a judge or parent. So technically, she is not bottomless her peplum should be viewed as a very short dress. It would be illegal for her friends to remove their bottoms unless similarly attired top.

      • That’s assuming they’re in public. If her friend is hosting the brunch in her house then it’d be strictly between the host and her guests if they want to wear less clothing in her house, just like in real life. (The reverse is not true, of course. If one of her friends was actually registered or under a nude punishment, she wouldn’t be able to override that.)
