      • Quite right. We all have a right to an opinion but also a responsibility as to how we express it. I’m grateful to all the women who pose naked in front of camera, irrespective of whether they turn me on or not. People who take their clothes off for a living are as entitled as any of us to be shown some respect.

      • …and here we have the opposite of an enlightened PN, a bodyshamer. Obviously this commentor should have a restraining order placed upon them to the effect that they cannot be within 150 meters of a permanude, top free, or privately nude citizen, or pictures thereof.

They are obviously to immature to appreciate the beauty therein, and intent on ruining the experience for the rest of us.

        • Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even ones we disagree with them. Perhaps especially when we disagree.

For one, we discover the undesirables that we can choose to ignore or choose to engage with our own free speech. They show themselves to be unable to grasp a concept that people come in all varieties. They are not naked for your pleasure, but for their own.

Secondly, if we restrict the freedom of others, what’s to stop someone from restricting our own?

          • Simple difference here, his “opinion”, here, advances society in no way, but is in fact, psychologically hurtful.

If it were “people should not walk around naked”, I would respect his opinion while disagreeing with it.

The opinion he stated was “her body is wrong”. That sounds like cyberbullying to me. And that, in fact, is a crime, as is hate speach, and uttering death threats.

Freedom of speach ≠ Freedom to shame, slander or insult.

I have no idea where you love, but in the USA, freedom of speech covers rude behavior. We may not like it, but we must be willing to protect rude speech before someone else decides our speech is rude, too.

Cyberbullying is likely legal, but not without tort – civil not criminal lawsuits.

Hate speech is a dangerous definition, especially when considering legal ramifications. If I hate that you hate certain speech, does that make your speech hate speech? We cannot allow the most sensitive person in the room determine what is or is not legal speech.

Death threats are illegal, but they must be reasonable assumed actionable. I someone were to post, “I wish you would die,” that is not a threat. An anonymous internet post to an anonymous moniker of “I’ll kill you!” is not a reasonable cause for alarm.

So while all of these are rude, uncalled for, they may not be illegal. They does not mean NWO has to tolerate publishing them. A true defender of free speech would allow such posts, but call out the person for making such comments. The problem with that is some people will post rude things just to rile up others, especially when we can post anonymously. It is a fine line NWO has to dance down. I tend to side with freedom of speech since the ladies in the post are unlikely to ever read these comments.

You mean I should state that this poster is unkind, likely of low intellect, and does not deserve his “right” to see naked people? Which I did. In a language they can understand.

I live in Canada, a country where the declining respect of others and rising sense of entitlement of our neighbors to the south causes increasingly costly and disruptive damages to our day to day life. Also a place where the trade bullying and America First policy during the Trump presidency and COVID caused hardship to your long time trade partners. And, surpringly good for us, started a movement to boycot products made in states that voted Trump, backed by our governments reinvesting in local production of these same goods. And don’t get me started with all the folks crossing into Canada requesting “asylum” from their residency in the states.

So yeah, my “opinion”, which you seem eager to defend the trolls’ rights to, is to shame the body shamers and invite the neighbors to the south stop defending the abuses of freedom, and focus on defending the freedoms actually intended in your own laws.

Or, in troll-intelect speak: “Stop defending / exporting the Trolls, or we will build a wall to the south, and make you pay for it’s construction!” ;-p

Oh, and I’d ask the distasteful bodyshamer language to be erased/banned by a downvote system here, but NWO does enough good work to help create a fantasy of a world where it’s SAFE to party naked. I don’t want to put the extra management work on him.

That said, Cato, thank you for your opinion. And for reading and responding to mine.

                • Uhhh, OK.

Skipping over the political commentary, yeah up/down votes aren’t happening. I’d consider it if I knew of a simple plug-in for that feature, but unfortunately wordpress handling of comments is pretty basic. Back when I was trying to find something to let people edit their comments, it looked like any enhancements like that would require a major overhaul of the comment system and make things more complicated than I care for.

  1. Well obviously, they assume that a permanude, being intelligent enough to make enlightened choices in life, is also polyglot and well versed in different cultures.

I suspect she will find she soaks it up much faster than others, too, despite her American education.
