Hmm, well he called it a “firm” which probably rules out school teacher and social worker. Real estate agent seems plausible. The term is most associated with law offices, but somehow it doesn’t look like that to me.
For some reason I’m inclined to imagine some kind of generic office job. Secretary, bookkeeper, support desk, something like that.
