    • The office may require the permanudes to wear shoes, so that visitors will not see dirty feet, which might cause them to feel that the office does not care enough about hygiene.

      • A quick foot wash would be easy to accomplish.

        Besides, getting rid of those ridiculous heels doesn’t necessarily mean barefoot. It could also mean decent shoes. (i.e. sandals, something with a low block heel, something more sensible to walk in, something not so terribly ugly.) Once at the office, bare would be better. However, you are correct that proper cleanliness must be maintained, especially if dealing with the public.
