So I got a bunch of spam comments today. As a (hopefully) temporary measure, I’m turning on CAPTCHAs for comments. Looks like you can bypass this if you are logged in, otherwise, sorry for the inconvenience, but I had to do something. They’re coming too fast for screening them manually to be practical.

Mmmmm yummy spam
Spammers suck (pardon language)… I can understand it’s bad enough wading through regular comments that make no sense. Keep at it! It’ll all work out.
This post was five years ago, but thanks. Sadly comment captchas are probably here to stay. I’ve tried turning them off from time to time, but even if it looks okay at first another wave of spam always comes along.
