Yeah, I’m aware. Not much I can do on my own, but I’ve contacted my host.
Edit: Sorry for the vague message, I wrote that when the site was working extremely poorly and I feared if I wrote a whole paragraph to explain it would be down again before I could post it!
Anyway, I did get a response to my support ticket overnight. I can’t say that it was completely reassuring because they couldn’t find a specific source for the problem. But they rebooted my server and said they optimized the web server and database software. Perhaps that will help, it does seem to be working fine again for now.
Edit 2: Alright, it’s been a day and no more trouble apparently so I guess it’s fixed.

Just out of curiosity, who is the host?
Not to be all mysterious, but I think just for general privacy reasons I’d prefer not to say. I can tell you it’s not any of the big-name options (which mostly don’t like adult content), though.

There’s been an intermittent problem where some of us have been getting an unable to log on to database error message and the site wouldn’t load up.I had it a couple of hours ago but it seems to have cleared now. Obviously. Else I wouldn’t be posting this now
