My assumption here is that the court took her clothes immediately, but allowed her to wear the jewellery home, so she can store it and replace the earrings with simple studs. I assume she wore inexpensive clothing to court on the possibility that she would be sentenced PN, but she did not foresee the possibility of a ‘strict’ sentence, and the court preferred to not worry about shipping the more expensive items when they could just let her wear them home.
Strict nudity would the necklace and the bracelet cause her a problem??
