I fully agree that this is REALLY a family. Nearby the naked girl, standing at her left, is her mother and a bit further stands her father. The old man left of the picture is obviously her grandfather. Its more difficult to be sure about the other people present. The girl full right might be her sister, the curly boy (second left) could be her brother, both bending their head not to look at the photographer ! Are they ashamed of their bold sister, unwanting to be seen or recognized with her ? They souldn’t be ! The tall young guy, standing just right of the naked girl and bending his head towards her, as she does towards him, might be either a protective elder brother, either her boyfriend. He seems happy in her company ; whereas the grandfather is pensive, loving his granddaughter too but a bit worried about her : « Won’t her practice of full nudity lead her to a sexually disordered life ? » That’s how I see and interpret this picture, relatively to the people appearing on it.
Now what about the context ? The photo was surely taken in Spain, because most of the characters present on it have a definitely Spanish look and also because Spanish law is globaly nudist-friendly, although there many restrictions applied on a local basis.
A few more words about this girl, whom we could label as a nudian (which means claiming the right to go fully naked in normal life, even among clothed people). This is hard to achieve and requires great courage and dedication, because it is scarcely understood. At least she has been accepted so in her own family, which is great, the reason being their long lasting love towards her, preventing any exclusion, but they do not necessarily approve her attitude… So the caption is very appropriate , showing the naked girl expressing some doubts whether if she is on the right way : « Is permanent nudity as great as I think ? », she wonders.
The question is not only in her mind but also written on her body, where a tatoo draws an interrogation point in black and white ! Meaning something as : « Who am I ? What’s the purpose of life in general and my life especially ? » And it fact, these fundamental questions of « Why ? » and « What for ? » have been subrepticely replaced, among most naturists and nudists, by the other question « How ? » And to this easier question, « how to live ? , they give a trivial answser : « fully naked, of course ! » Which is indeed an acceptable practice, IF sincerely assumed with its advantages and drawbacks (feeling cold sometimes, walking barefoot even on hard grounds, being looked at insistenly in mixed areas) but doesn’t answer the fundamental questions of life and may even, unfortunately, keep some people apart from the answer to these questions, by their refusal of any traditionnal approach due to that it could possibly interfere with their new way of life.
Meanwhile and although she feels second thoughts, afterwards, our naked girl is very dedicated to her status of strict pemanude : she doesn’t avoid family gatherings, even if she is only tolerated there, and she even tries (if you notice well) to practice some kind of nudiquette ! Although its obviously impossible to put legs wide apart while standing, she makes the effort to hold herself on one leg only, raising the other one and rotating it somehow, to make her sexual parts more visible (with no great success, in fact).
I don’t know when this picture has been taken, I am happy to see such a likeable woman (and family), I sincerely hope that she will find her way, find the answer to her questions, and manage her nudity in an harmonious way.
I love your very thoughtful reply. While I am aware that some of the regulars on this board are Europeans, I don’t always think about it. But I appreciate your pointing out that this family looks Spanish and informing me of the acceptance of nudity in at least some locales of Spain.
As for the relationships, I think that her looks have been handed down primarily from her father (man on our left) and grandfather (the older gentleman in the black sweater.) The nude girl’s mother (red sweater) has provided her looks for her brother (the curly haired taller man.) I have found in general that the girls more often get their looks from their Dad and the boys get their looks from their Mom. Of course many exceptions to this rule exist. I think the lady on our far right is her aunt, sister to her father.
I especially enjoyed your thoughts about her nude philosophy and her family’s feelings about it.
Apart from the mother, clearly identified by her look, her red sweater and her proximity to the naked girl, it is difficult to say with no doubt what are the relationships between the other members of the family. I clearly think that the grandfather is the bald man left of the picture, because he looks the oldest, with his white beard and some white hair remaining. So the man with the black jacket should be her father, since he sticks to the mother and seems to have approximately the same age as her. Apart from the curly brother, second left, looking down, it is difficult to be sure about the other people present.

Okay after reflecting on this photo here’s a possible explanation. She’s one of those Eastern European NIP models that we enjoy watching walk through the city streets. When the photo crew came to the family home where she lives to pick her up, the photographer asked the extended family for a group photo. After negotiating an acceptable fee the family reluctantly agreed. They’re not too happy about it but they have to eat, right?
