  1. How much simpler would life be if you could be nude at will and clothed at will without getting a government permission slip?

  2. A regret clause would be useful, but it ought to be a once-in-a-lifetime option. Otherwise, you could have people signing up for PN for a weekend, then exercising a regret, only to sign up for another weekend and exercising another regret.

Anyone signing up under duress would need to report the person blackmailing them. Once that person is found out, the courts can make that person finish the PN time. Otherwise, once again, someone could sign up for PN status for a weekend and claim duress, only to sign up for another weekend.

It’s in the name PN- PermaNude.

    • I pretty much agree.

For the record, my take on how it works currently in my setting is that there would be a process for canceling registration in exceptional circumstances (and blackmail would certainly count), but not just because you changed your mind.

A cooling off period isn’t an unreasonable addition, I could see that being a thing some jurisdictions offer, though as you say, it would need limits to avoid abuse.
