Update: I guess I surprised my parents further when they said they are revoking my nude punishment on Thursday, and I requested to stay naked till Sunday evening. Being naked for the last 4 days have become normal, and my friends planned a trip to this waterpark on the weekend. Surprisingly, I was looking forward to visiting naked. Dad just agreed and gave me a hug. Mom, jokingly, said I should be naked till graduation. I am still indifferent to it.
Is this all there is to a nude punishment? I thought I’d be mortified. Instead I’m underwhelmed. The boys will whisper about me, and my friends will cluster around me to protect me and life will go on.
As she says here, it’s part of growing up. It’s a “rite of passage,” turn 18 -> get your clothes taken away. At least in her case, that should be a permanent status until she graduates and gets her own place.
