Yeah, that’s my thinking. It’s not something I’ve been totally consistent on though. Like if something is “alt” but the caption emphasizes they’re naked illegally, afraid of getting caught, etc, I might use it. But this one kinda reads like it’s a world where people are just okay with random nudity.

In Rio, it is Carnival. Mardi Gras is technically just the last day, or Fat Tuesday. The US typically calls the whole season Mardi Gras, however.
