I was reading through some old posts and happened to notice this was broken (probably ever since I switched hosts). The thumbnail thing somehow lost all the images. So this time I decided to just use the “Read More” option. First image is shown on the main page, the rest you have to open it to see.
I’m probably not going to be using the format in the future, there really doesn’t seem to be any great way to handle it.
Not sure from your post if you fixed this, but I have no problems with it. I see six open pictures on the page, with the byline under the first and the ‘like’ options under the last.
Yes it’s “fixed”, but I just used the “read more” page break thing instead of messing with the gallery function, which wasn’t that great anyway.
Not that it really matters when it’s on page 150 or whatever, but the issue was that when there are this many images in a post, showing everything on the main page started to look messy and kind of broke the flow for browsing. In the future I’ll probably favor serial posts rather than multi-image if it’s more than 2 or 3.
I sat on this submission for way too long, because I wasn’t sure how to handle the multi-part format. For a large number of images like this, having them all shown in full isn’t a good option. It comes out rather messy looking.
So you have to click each one. It’s not great but it’s the best I’ve been able to figure out so far.

The old catchphrase “If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime,” has been updated to, “If you can’t show the skin, don’t do the sin.”
She should have thought of all these things before she committed the crime that got her the bottomless sentence.
