I’ve been using grocery home delivery service for a few years and I have yet to see the same delivery driver twice. No one has “assigned territories.” The orders go onto a listing in the app and whoever is in range and selects the assignment gets it.
Going shopping is a good way to possibly make new friends. At the supermarket, for example, when you can’t quite reach that item on the top shelf, there’s bound to be a nice chap around doing his shopping that will be more than happy to help you get it. Viola! New friend!
