  1. “This photo shows what’s good and what’s bad about being a PN,” Shelley said handing the photo to her textile friend, “the good thing is that no one is gawking at me. I’m just another person in the crowd.”
    “What’s the bad thing?” her friend asked.
    “I wish they would pay more attention to my feet. I’m barefoot; they’re not.”

    • “Oh! so you are Shelley!” I replied. “I must admit that apart from looking you in the eye when we’re speaking, my gaze is usually focused somewhere between your neck and upper thighs and I don’t generally notice anything further down.”
