I agree with everything you say. VagueWriter should submit pictures with their own captions and one anonymous contributor is often over the top and crude, but that is why they stay anonymous.
I’ve tried finding my own pictures and captioning them, The problem is that my mind works better when I’m provided a picture and have to supply a caption that is clever and fits the scenario. If I’m stepping on toes I apologize, and if the site is better without my additions I will stop.
I admit I was a little confused by your comments at first, but once I realized they were alternative captions they made sense, and I don’t have any problem with you doing that.
Though I would of course appreciate conventional submissions if you ever decided to do that. For what it’s worth, the way you described thinking about it isn’t too different from what I do. I usually find pictures first and try to imagine what’s happening to get my idea for the caption.
His nudity in public and his gag didn’t bother him as much as the damn leash, especially when she yanked on it. What surprised him was the warm feeling that washed through him as he surrendered his will to the experience. He had no control so he might as well enjoy the ride.
