  1. Alright, the anonymous contributor kindly supplied a revised version with the offending “all ages” part removed. I still don’t think old one was that bad, but it did depend on how you interpreted it.

    • I’m afraid that’s the way of the world these days. This week I’ve learned that Goldilocks and the Three Bears is a story that promotes white privilege and Donald Duck is a racist…

      • Oh boohoo, you can’t prey on kids and call people racial slurs anymore without consequence. Why would Joe Biden do this to us? Truly the west has fallen, billions must die.

  2. “Awkward? Oh nonsense! Mom saves 33% on your school backpack if you strip naked. do it for mom!” Lol

That wouldn’t even be unrealistic for the coupon hunter moms in the USA.

    • Thinking of some of the “professional” bargain hunters I’ve seen here in the UK it’s not a big stretch of the imagination to believe they’d strip naked a family member of ANY age, young or old, if doing so would save them a few £££’s…

  3. This is a great ad for a store in the vicinity of a college, whether you are getting ready to go back to school right after high school or returning for some further education after being out in the work force for a few years. (Thus, the all ages aspect.)

    • That was how I read it. The “all ages” thing didn’t compute with me because I grew up through a sort of “age of innocence” where if as kids we decided to run around naked in public it was regarded as “nothing to see here” and no-one really insisted we covered up until reaching puberty (at which stage most of us had gone all shy and kept our clothes on anyway). It never occurred to us for a single second that some sick b’stard might be getting sexual pleasure from watching us.

    • Oh come on! Admittedly she’s a little thinner and flatter chested than my ideal but she does have a pretty smile and lovely hair. “Super gross” is more than a bit harsh…

  4. Given the nature of this site, and let’s be honest and blunt here, it’s soft porn / a fetish site, the language in this caption is a bit concerning. Specifically the first sentence of the last paragraph.

    • Hmm. I admit I was more focused impressive advertising mockup than the exact wording. But yeah, the “of all ages” bit does stick out a bit, doesn’t it? Now to be clear although never shown, it is firmly part of the setting that permanent nudity (and the related nude punishments etc) can extend to people under 18, but the implication here that stripping could be a something of a public spectacle does make this caption a little suspect.

I don’t consider it so bad as to take this down, though if Anonymous would like to send me a replacement with tamer wording I’d be happy to replace it.

      • To me, the word “student” implies someone of college/ university age
i.e over 18 as opposed to a younger school kid, but knowing how things are these days (a paediatrician in the UK got beaten up by idiots who confused paediatrician with paedophile – true story) TBF if I’d been skilled enough to submit something as good as this I would’ve added an asterisk* after “Or looks like this” and replaced the “Students of all ages” with the headline “Green Deal!” followed by a double asterisk**. Then I would’ve written “* Over 18 only. ** Over 18 only. Proof of age required.” at the bottom of the picture to take away any age sensitivity. Whether this would’ve spoiled the overall submission is a moot point.
