  1. I tagged this #alt under the supposition that she’s really a water spirit, but I have to wonder if she’s not just a skinnydipper with the world’s least convincing excuse for her unregistered nudity.

Because I often have trouble with my emails being received, lemme also put a note for Jack here: I sent you a message about the text quality in a couple of your recent submissions. (In short, it’s usable but not great, full details in the email. Let me know if you didn’t get it.)

    • 100% ” just a skinnydipper with the world’s least convincing excuse for her unregistered nudity.”

    • Hey, I am following your tutorial and the results are due to that. I have win 11 and paint.net 5.03. The first step in your tutorial is abstract and incomprensible to me. How does on create something light upon opening. All the other sequences usually work, but sometimes not.

      • I tried to describe it in as much detail as I could, but let me try less detail. You clearly know how to make red text, so I assume you can make white or pastel text too. Maybe I over-complicated the description. The short version:

Add a new layer. Put white/light text on it. Duplicate this layer. Select the lower copy of this layer. Turn the text black. Blur it to create a “shadow”, which should be visible under the top layer’s light-colored text. If needed, duplicate the shadow layer once or twice to make the shadow darker.
