I wouldn’t exactly say it’s canon, but it’s not implausible that you could find a loophole such as failing to specify “opaque” in an indecency law IRL. And it is canon that most jurisdictions had to completely rewrite their public indecency statutes to accommodate permanent nudity, which provides another opportunity for new errors such as this to creep in.
