The reason she felt it was bad news was because she had shamed the family. Part of this shame was that she had been convicted of a crime, but a large part of it was that she would have to be naked in public.
Now that she is realizing that her nudity brings pleasure, not shame, to her husband, it is extremely probable that, if he still feels this way at the end of her sentence, she will register PN to continue to bring him joy.

The bad news is that it only lasts 38 months. That’s only a little over three years! That sentence MUST be extended!
