These nasty parents had no way to check (just swich off the phone after their call, or even BEFORE it, not to be disturbed) ; so she had better not take into account their message and undress only when the job interview is finished.
I’m inclined to agree with you two. I can can sort of see the parents’ point, but a social event, not a job interview would be the proper time for something like this.
I’m all for freeing women from their clothing…but there is a time and place to do that. Sabotaging a job interview is scummy and abusive behavior all around.

Of course, for the date it’s more of a mixed thing. May be very embarrassing, but it’s certainly one way of catching his (or her) eye…
