It’s umm, a co-branding promotion. They did a survey and found that the two things their customers rated most favorably were naked girls and donuts. So having nude flight attendants serve Krispy Kream on their planes was the obvious answer.
That doesn’t speak well of the taste of whoever selected Krispy Kreme as the airlines donut brand.
KK are edible, but they are last or near last on the donut preference list.
My favored theory is that they use a secretive opioid-based glazing process that gives them a competitive advantage, particularly when the donuts are fresh and hot.

For many who say KK is their favorite donut maker, you could likely substitute someone else’s donuts and they would rave over them, believing them to be KK donuts. For them, it’s a psychological favorite rather than a taste favorite.
