I’m OK with wearing shoes outside. It keeps the bottom of their feet clean. In Japanese culture, it is expected to remove footwear when going indoors. If they were barefoot, their feet would be dirty and have to be cleaned. It is just easier to remover the shoes.
And being probably the first three and only permanudes of all Japan, they decided to run into the busiest points of Tokyo to have fun: 31 million clothed people vs 3 naked ladies. They are living the dream.
Of course they’re bad girls, wearing high heels. Good girls would be naked and barefoot too, probably studying in a library.
