What does the law say about the parent(s) moving in with the child? Can the child make the parents strip since it’s their home instead of the parent’s home? Are the nude punishment laws one way or can they be applied the other way?
I guess it’s possible there’s some variability on this from place to place, but normally it doesn’t work in reverse. “Dependent child” is how I’ve always phrased it.
Proper parental response toward anyone still living with them or even partially supported by them beyond age 18:
As long as we are providing you any support, you are not allowed to waste money on clothing. You’ll continue to live naked and are forbidden to even own any clothing until you are no longer receiving any support from us.
Whether referred to as a punishment or directive or whatever, it is parental mandated nudity.
You’re right, I usually say nudity laws are state level in the US. It’s probably reasonable to think there would be some federal law on the subject too though. Something a bit obscure like this seems plausible.

Parents should just make their kids, adult or not, never wear clothes. It’s clearly the best for saving money and getting used to their bodies!
