It’s actually supposed to say “Gone to lunch by now”, but presumably due to recent changes, the corrected version is taking longer than normal to appear. Sorry, this is all kind of a pain a the moment, but I’ll hopefully get things like this sorted out eventually.
He saw how dirty his van was and decided to kindly wash the clothes on his lunch break. Sadly, he left them at the laundromat but I’m sure he’ll pick them up tomorrow!

Yes, the driver will be back on time. Whether clothes left in the van will still be there is another question.
