  1. More teachers need to register PN. Not just for the reasons stated, but they should be setting the positive PN example, encouraging those they have influence with to follow suit.

    • Could a pro-nudity teacher just take away all their students’ clothes? To what extent does it have to be “for cause”?

      • Presumably each school or district has their own policy on this. Some don’t use nude punishments at all, other may give teachers free reign, with plenty of options in between. For instance maybe teachers can’t give out nude punishments directly, but the principle can. I would guess most have at least guidelines about when it’s appropriate though.

And of course that doesn’t have to mean punishments only, you’ve also got stuff like “body comfort week”, but I imagine most schools would prefer to do that kind of thing in an organized manner, not just at the whim of each teacher.

        • Personally, I believe most schools would restrict teachers to using “nude punishment” for cause. Allowing clothing to be removed on a whim or because of the individual teacher’s philosophy risks creating problems with parents who feel this in interfering with their ability to raise their children as they see fit. I could foresee strong complaints or even lawsuits if it is not properly restricted to punishments and items that are part of the curriculum such as ‘body comfort weeks’.

I can also see exceptions such as assignments that require the students to be nude, but expect these would be optional, or at least made clear to the parents that they are part of the curriculum. (IIRC there was a relatively recent post about a student who had to live naked for a week or so and write an article about it.)
