Her mother is smart to ensure the punishment is being kept on. With clothing restrictions in general, there’s a big risk people will slip something on when nobody’s around.
When my sister or I lost our clothes growing up, our parents added a camera to our rooms and would spot-check footage to make sure things were ok. We were both fine with it, after all it was only our parents looking at it, as opposed to everybody when we went outside or to school!
