This reminds me of the GURPS pen and paper RPG I played for a little while, specifically the superhero supplement. Superheros get 1000 points to create their characters, compared to 100 points for a typical human. Plus they get access to extraordinary abilities like flight and shooting lasers from the eyes and such.
But there was a tiny catch: If you had powers like turning yourself into a fireball, walking through walls or changing sizes like this guy, you’d end up naked. Unless, that is, you took the Costume advantage, which grants your character a costume that automatically works with their powers.
Kind of amazing how many mainstream superheros have that advantage isn’t? But hey, it’s 15 points, why waste those on something boring when you can just register?
