Well I’m glad you found it touching, I think I got some kind of comment along the same lines when I originally posted this on tumblr too, so you’re not the only one.
There really aren’t too many captions from a parent’s perspective on nude punishments, and even less where they aren’t the one imposing it, so this could be an interesting topic to explore further (as long as we can avoid making it creepy).
Since he is apparently “walk[ing] her home” and they have passed that house, I presume it has nothing to do with them — possibly one of the neighbours is planning a wedding.
Until you said wedding, giving me the clue to look for something white, I wasn’t even sure what Jim was talking about. I took that for a folded patio umbrella. Personally I still think that’s what it is, though now that it’s been pointed out, I do see how it could be a dress.
Actually, since Jim indicated there was a dress on the porch, that white item, which I had not noticed before, was the only possible ‘dress’ I saw. I commented without inspecting it as closely as I should. The part at the top looked like a sort of wide collar that would stand in for a train, which made me think of a wedding.
nice of dad to walk her home
She looks scared because she knows you and mom will paddle her bare butt when she gets home
I must be getting old, or looking at too many naked girls. Every time I see that one, I kinda tear up. So sweet.
Probably best if you don’t ask how many times I’ve seen it.

Nice Dad, but what’s that dress hanging on the porch?

Yes, that is a folded umbrella.
