  1. I’m not sure what the objection to AI is. The ‘they’re not real’ argument presupposes that actors and situations depicted are real which they are absolutely not. Photos get doctored all the time. Besides cartoons are allowed on this site and no one objects. I can see objecting to bad AI however on artistic grounds.

    • I’ve no objection to AI generated stuff going up and there’s no doubt that there’s some beautiful AI artwork being produced now, but it fails my “tickle test” compared to other artwork in that sometimes I look at a nude painting or drawing and feel a “tickle” from an erection starting as I imagine the naked woman standing in front of the artist. I’ve also been turned on by some anime, too, most recently when I tried the SPNATI site. Yet with AI, there’s no “tickle” so far, not once, ever. The newer stuff especially gives me a too perfect, almost alien vibe. Maybe there’s an irrational fear of the technology buried in my subconscious, that AI is getting smarter by the minute and may ultimately do for us a species, distracting us with sex while it perfects its takeover. I hope this last thought ultimately proves to be as silly as it sounds reading it back…

      • I remember a few years back when kids reading comic books was going to end western civilization. Then it was cartoon violence that was going to produce a generation of kids desensitized to violence. After that Dungeons and Dragons players were going to be led into devil worship. Lately schools dropping cursive is leading to a generation of dullards. Change is always seen as sinister when in fact it is never as good as predicted or as bad as doomsayers foretell. I like a good looking nude as much as everyone else on this site, but none of it is real. It’s photons jumping off an electrically charged plate. How we react to it is in our minds, not in the media.

  2. I think we should restrict AI on this site. If this continues unchallenged, this website will be filled with AI slop in just a few months. Maybe a solution can be to provide a filter so folks can filter out AI images/videos from their view.

    • I would be happy to provide a filter… if I knew how. Unfortunately WordPress doesn’t offer a negative tag search by default and I haven’t found a plugin to do that yet either. If I could, I probably would have set it up for at least the male tag already. But if anyone knows a good way to implement this I’m very open to suggestions.

        • That’s fair, I guess. *laughs* I’d like to think I don’t complain needlessly, though. And I don’t comment on every single thing I dislike. And at least I bother to let everyone know who I am.

      • That’s a valid point. I’ve noticed a lot of the complaints come from people who are too afraid to actually login. If you’re that invested in the site, you don’t need to remain anonymous.

        • The point is well made. I’ve got 14 posts on here where I’ve used myself as the model and every inch of my naked body is on show. Clearly I’m invested in and committed to this site, so I do have a stake in this. I do NOT take this as giving me the right to come on here demanding stuff be banned.

  3. Wow! Proud to say I was here to witness the very first video submission.

Although, as someone who views this website without audio on, it would be nice to have captions on any video content.

    • Yeah, that’s a valid point. If videos become a a regular part of this blog I will definitely think about how to address that. To be clear though, due to bandwidth constraints, only short clips like this are on the table. The filesize limit I’ve been using is 3MB and this video is less than that, so I figured there was no reason not to give it a try.
