That issue where everything but the front page leads to a 404 error happened again. Fortunately I knew just what to do to fix it this time, but that it happened again at all is concerning. Once I could write off as a fluke but clearly I need to get to the bottom of this.
P.S. Sorry for the shortage of regular updates today. I’m distracted trying to deal with this. I’ll make sure I get at least one post up, maybe more we’ll see.

It seems like the problem might be related to a flood of bot traffic, so I’ve decided to try raising the security level from “medium” to “high” in my hosting account. We’ll see if that helps. But also please let me know if this causes any inconvenience, such as excessive captchas or the like.
