It seems tweaking the settings on the existing plugin didn’t cut it, so I’m now using another one. This is one of those slider things. I don’t know exactly why it supposedly confuses robots, but it’s easier for humans if anything, so let’s see how that goes. Let me know if you have any trouble. In the event that you can’t comment at all, you can always use the contact form which still uses one of the old captchas.

It’s much easier. Not as much fun as when the Captcha used to give us dirty words to have to type, but easier.
Yeah, unfortunately that one had some kind of technical incompatibility with other plugins when it comes to comments. It’s still used on few things like the submission page though.
Anyway, the slider seems to be working for now. And the fact that it’s easier is a nice bonus.
