  1. Feeling hot, despite it being cold winter, sounds concerning.
    Like it sounds like hypothermia, but I’m not an expert,
    so there may be other explanations that I’m not entirely aware of.
    But regardless, best to talk with a medical professional or something just to be safe.
    Could also be physical exertion (clearing the snow) that is heating you up, I guess.
    But all in all, things should be fine.

    • I’ve just learned something new today about The Albedo Effect where Snow has a high albedo, meaning it reflects a significant portion of solar radiation. This creates a “double dose” of sun—from the sky and reflected from the ground. In calm, sunny conditions, the perceived temperature can be significantly higher than the actual air temperature.

      • True, but Russian lacks ‘a, an and the’. So Russian speakers, and I’ve known a few, tend to speak English without them. I will admit that it does make her sound like Natasha from the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons.
