I think a husband/wife situation fits better here. Her husband and his pals talk too much and ruling the world over a few beers – but they don’t have the balls to take action. Like she did: proudly registered to PermaNude for 25 yrs.

Tom: Is the fire too hot?
Gwen: Sort of. Hot grease is spattering over some very tender parts.
Tom: Want me to take over?
Gwen: No, but an apron would be nice.
