Some important questions remains unanswered :
How did she earn her life ? “She wore clothes only when shopping or going to church” means that she didn’t have to go work. Was the widowhood allowance she received, for her late husband who fell in Korea, enough for her to live ?
What about her social life ? Did she invite friends at home sometimes, and if so, did she receive her guests fully naked ? How did they react ?
I had a young collegue in industry who invited fellows from our unit to visit her flat but notified them that she was always bare at home and would thus receive them in the nude. Some accepted to come, others were too frightened to do so !
