I often saw cases of streakers in the 1970’s and 80’s (one girl in particular who streaked at an international cricket match and turned a cartwheel in front of the main stand) who suddenly became very shy and bashful at the end of the run trying desperately to cover breast and genitals as they were led away by police. Keeping them uncovered would be an effective start to the inevitable nude sentence and their tales of woe would discourage others from transgressing.
