I have no idea where or how she came to the belief that they were anything other than delightful. It may not have been anybody in particular. Possibly it was the many references to ‘nipples like rosebuds’ and similar allusions in literary descriptions that made her feel they did not fit. Thankfully, now we are seeing more representations of those with darker skin, so hopefully such misapprehensions will disappear.
Personally, I find her (and them) extremely attractive.
