There’s also an old dirty joke about situations like this “If you’re Canadian, show me your beaver!” For the unfamiliar, “beaver” is old-fashioned slang for female genitalia. It’s kinda fallen out of use, but it was a common joke when I was a kid in the late 80’s and early 90’s.
In my corner of the UK, “Beaver” referred to the luscious Lady Gardens our womenfolk used to have back in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. As the fashion has changed and a lot of women get “Brazilians” or shave their pubic hair into Landing Strips for example, Beavers have fallen out of favour along with the Treasure Trails that often accompanied them.
