The students should probably be made aware that certain plants are not eatable and can, therefore cause unknown reactions. Just be cautious. Take nature walks with at least one trusted friend. Also, I suggest some kind of foot covering. I have gotten Poison Ivy on my feet. It is best to know when it is active and “in season”.
“This mushroom is known as Cupid’s Arrow in Europe. It’s considered an aphrodisiac. Since you’re my only student today. Why don’t you eat this one and I’ll eat the other. Let’s see if what they say is true.”
